SunnyMoney is a social enterprise owned and funded by the UK Charity SolarAid operating in Zambia and Malawi.
SunnyMoney is the largest seller and distributor of high-quality solar lights in Africa.
SolarAid first opened its SunnyMoney office in Zambia in 2008. Since then, SunnyMoney has been building a sustainable solar market in Zambia through the sale and distribution of pico-solar lights and some productive-use solar products.
Working with agents or Solar Entrepreneurs across the country, SunnyMoney is ensuring last mile distribution of solar lights in remote, off-grid communities, thereby contributing to the realization of SDG 7 which speaks to access to affordable and clean energy for all.
